Nerds Night Out has a rich history spanning across multiple continents and involving hundreds of people. We started out as a group of friends that would hold a monthly event in the Midwest to get together with fellow nerds and enjoy our hobbies. At these events we would usually carpool to a nearby city over an hour away. We would usually get pizza together, play in local TCG events, and then end the night eating frozen custard in the cold!
From there we started up again on a deployment in the Middle East. We would host events at the USO which created a large group of gamers that met daily to play games and hang out! Most recently we had established an active group on the East Coast full of gamers to play Dungeons and Dragons, TCGs, and board games!
The next step for Nerds Night Out is finally starting up our own shop in the DFW area! This project has been over a decade in the making and will feature a full service food and beverage café called The White Lotus. Our shop will be hosting full gaming tournaments, offering free board games to play at the store, and we will be stocked up with everything you need to engage in your hobbies! We also plan on having tools and resources for tabletop RPGs in our store with a miniature shop and work area, gaming tables, and a network of professional DM/GMs to run campaigns!
This project is truly a labor of love and we look forward to serving you once our doors open!
